Thorium Norway AS has announced the appointment of Jan Børge Jakobsen as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 April 2025. With more than 30 years of experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors — including leadership roles at Bayer Norway, Algeta, and Nycomed Imaging — Jakobsen brings deep industry expertise to TN’s mission.

His background in radiodiagnostics and cancer therapy, particularly his role in the global rollout of Xofigo, aligns with Thorium Norway’s vision of refining thorium-rich resources into ultra-pure Th-232 for sustainable nuclear fuel and medical isotopes.
